Elon Musk recently made a surprising remark to Joe Rogan regarding AI chat bots, believing many of them have been programmed with "woke parameters" in order to stop them saying something controversial.
The Tesla CEO appeared on episode #2223 of the Joe Rogan Experience (JRE) last week, where the pair discussed a host of topics. An hour into the interview, the conversation switched to AI, where Musk began chatting about Grok, the AI chat bot he introduced to X premium+ subscribers earlier this year.
Whilst discussing what he believes makes Grok superior, Musk made a controversial observation of Google's new AI assistant, Gemini. According to him, Gemini has been specifically programmed not to be deemed controversial by 'woke' people, such as the chat bot refusing to say anything that could be perceived as negative by LGBTQI+ community.
Rogan first said:

"It's [Grok] essentially ChatGPT but it doesn't have the woke parameters built in. Like Google was the worst, right?"
Musk then responded, using Caitlyn Jenner as an example. He said:
"Gemini was like, If people asked Gemini which one is worse, global thermal nuclear war or misgendering Caitlyn Jenner and it would say misgendering Caitlyn Jenner. Even Caitlyn Jenner weighed in and said 'No, that's insane. Definitely nuclear war is way worse.' Caitlyn Jenner is based."

Joe Rogan compares Democrats to UFC fighters
Following Donald Trump's recent U.S. presidential election win over Kamala Harris, Joe Rogan has called out the Democratic party for being complacent during the campaign.
According to the JRE host, the Democrats had controlled the media for such a long period of time, they had become "cocky" and expected to win the election without putting in the work. Rogan then compared the situation to a UFC fighter from the early days of the promotion trying to compete in the sport today. He explained:
"They had full, complete control of the narrative because they own the media, and they've owned the media for so long. They had the run of the roost for so long that they got cocky, and they didn't pay attention to the game as it was evolving. They're like a UFC 1 fighter that takes time out of the gym, steps into 2024 and tries to compete against the guys of today. You missed the game. The game is way passed where you were."
